We want DVine Pie to be as environmentally clean as possible. Every product we buy, and every decision we make, takes into consideration our environmental impact.

The following are examples of how we’re being as environmentally friendly as we can. We hope that others will follow suit, and do whatever they can do to care for our Mother Earth.

DVine Box Take Out / Delivery Tray

DVine Pie is proud to be the first restaurant in the United States to send our pizza’s home in a pizza tray made from 75% recycled aluminum. Unlike yucky old school cardboard pizza boxes (which cannot be recycled), the DVine Box is:

Reusable /Reheatable: Because of its durability, the DVine Box can be used over and over again, at home to store and reheat pizza, or by us at DVine Pie…so far we’re getting over 5 use cycles out of each box.

Returnable: We charge a $3 deposit for a DVine Box. When you’re done with it, just return it and you’ll get $3 cashback or a $5 store coupon

Recyclable: Aluminum is the most recycled material on the planet, with the current world aluminum supply consisting of 75% recycled aluminum.

Better For Your Pizza: The DVine Box is vented, which allows the steam to escape. Your pizza arrives home hot with a crispy crust.

Sourcing locally, Disposing Minimally

We buy “locally” from breweries, distilleries, wineries, and food purveyors whenever possible

All of the beer and most of the wine we pour comes to us in kegs. When the kegs are spent, we return them to be refilled.

We estimate these results in our generating 80% less can/glass waste than a typical restaurant/bar our size.

“To Go” Containers That Go Away

We use only 100% compostable restaurant supplies from Good Start Packaging, including:

paper straws provided on request

100% compostable “to-go” containers made from corn starch and plant-based materials. No petroleum-based products, ever.

paper napkins made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste paper

bathroom tissue made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste paper.
